الملخص

مع زيادة أعداد السكان في الأعوام المنصرمة في قطاع غزة، ازداد الاستهلاك بشتى أنواعه زيادةً كبيرة، بالتالي تزايدت النفايات الصلبة بكميات ضخمة، الأمر الذي حتَّم على صنَّاع القرار إيجاد أماكن للتخلص من هذه الكميات الكبيرة من النفايات الصلبة، التي يجب أن تكون بعيدةً عن السكان وعن المناطق المأهولة، إلا أن الحصار المفروض على قطاع غزة وطبيعة المساحة الضيقة للقطاع حالت دون ذلك، وعليه؛ تهدف هذه الدراسة للتعرف على المخاطر التي تنتج عن النفايات الصلبة من خلال خروج الغازات السامة منها، التي تؤدي إلى تلوث الهواء بالتالي انبعاث روائح كريهة وسيئة تؤثر تأثيرًا مباشرًا على صحة الإنسان. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أبرزها أنَّ مكبات النفايات الموجودة في قطاع غزة لا تراعي أي شروط أو معايير صحية في عملية اختبار مكبات النفايات.

Abstract

With the increase in population numbers in the past years in the Gaza Strip, this led to a significant increase in consumption of all kinds, and consequently, solid waste increased in huge quantities, which made it necessary for decision-makers to find places to dispose of these large quantities of solid waste, which should be far from The population and the populated areas, however, the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip and the nature of the narrow space of the Strip prevented this, and therefore; This study aims to identify the risks that result from solid waste through the release of toxic gases from it, which leads to air pollution and thus the emission of unpleasant and bad odors that directly affect human health. The study reached a set of results, most notably that the landfills in the Gaza Strip do not take into account any health conditions or standards in the process of testing landfills.
