Yemeni Girl’s Challenges of Education against the Restrictions of Customs and Traditions

Yemen, as a developing country, suffers from many problems, among them the problem of education in general and girls’ education in particular. Some international reports on education show that Yemen is considered one of the widest gender gaps, and despite continuous efforts to increase the proportion of girls in schools, this did not achieve the desired hope. The education of Yemeni girls is still the subject of a basic and controversial discussion to get out of this crisis that concerns Yemenis and international organizations, especially since customs and traditions are among the most important obstacles and obstacles facing the education of Yemeni girls. Hence, this article is merely an attempt to present the challenges of Yemeni girl education.

تعاني اليمن كدولة نامية من العديد من المشاكل ، من بينها مشكلة التعليم بشكل عام وتعليم الفتيات بشكل خاص. تظهر بعض التقارير الدولية حول التعليم أن اليمن يعتبر من أوسع الفجوات بين الجنسين ، وعلى الرغم من الجهود المستمرة لزيادة نسبة الفتيات في المدارس ، إلا أن هذا لم يحقق الأمل المنشود. لا يزال تعليم الفتيات اليمنيات موضوع نقاش أساسي ومثير للجدل للخروج من هذه الأزمة التي تهم اليمنيين والمنظمات الدولية ، خاصة وأن العادات والتقاليد من أهم المعوقات والمعوقات التي تواجه تعليم الفتاة اليمنية. ومن ثم ، فإن هذا المقال هو مجرد محاولة لعرض تحديات تعليم الفتاة اليمنية.
